16th December 2011.. At the Show Gundog Working day organised by Eastern Counties Golden Retriever Club, Judges Mr David Barnes ( Millgreen ) and Mr Jim Gale, awarded Pella his Show Gundog Working Certificate to now make him a Full Champion. 12th October 2011.. Pella won his sixth CC at Gundog Society of Wales Championship Show under Judge Mrs Sandra Lane and then in agreement with Co- Judge Mrs. Janet Crang he was awarded Best of Breed. 30th September 2011.. Pella was awarded his fifth CC and Best of Breed at Driffield Championship Show under Judge Mr Eddie Webster. He then went into the Gundog Group ring under Judge Mrs Aidine Howe and was awarded Group 3. A fantastic achievement. 22nd August 2011.. Pella won his fourth CC at The Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show under Judge Mrs Lynn Kipps and then in agreement with Co-Judge Mrs Jayne Storey he was awarded Best of Breed. He continued to do his best in the Group ring and was shortlisted to the last few in a very strong Group. 2nd July 2011..Pella was second in Open Dog at Windsor Championship Dog Show under Judge Mr Jim Richardson and was then awarded the Reserve CC. 25th June 2011.. Pella won Open Dog at Blackpool Championship Show under Judge Mrs Sheila Watkins and was then awarded Reserve CC. 23rd January 2011.. Pella won Open Dog at Manchester Championship Show under Judge Mrs Paula Edwards and was then awarded Reserve CC. 13th November 2010...Pella won his third CC and gained his title of Show Champion under Judge Mrs Viv Jones at Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland Championship Show and then in agreement with Co-Judge Mrs Briony Athey he was awarded Best Of Breed. 13th October 2010...Pella won his second CC under Judge Mrs Lynne Hennessy at Gundog Society of Wales Championship Show and then in agreement with Co-Judge Mrs Viv Jones he was awarded Best Of Breed. 26th September 2010 ....Pella won his first C.C under Judge Mr George Hennessy at Eastern Counties G.R.C Championship Show and then in agreement with Co-Judge Mrs Fiona Brightley he was awarded Best In Show.. 13th September 2009.... Pella won Junior Dog and Yearling Dog at Richmond Championship Dog Show under Judge Mr Gordon Kipps and then went on to be awarded his first Reserve CC at just 16 months of age. We are so proud to have bred, own and show this extrovert boy who loves the show ring atmosphere, his personality and sheer joy of life is infectious. Pella, (mummy's baby dog) enjoys life to the full here at Chadzo, where he has also been trained in the field and obtained his Show Gundog Working Certificate. Thank you so much to all Judges who have thought so highly of our special boy. These are some of the comments judges have made about him ... Sandra Lane ( Kulawand ) .... Standing, a very pleasing outline, good head with expressive intelligent eye, well angulated forequarters, well sprung in rib, short coupled & good angulation of quarters completed the picture. Very much at one with his handler & his willingness to please showed in every step. Eddie Webster ( Benjcroft ).. dog with so much quality. I thought he looked stunning from head to toe. Gorgeous head with melting expression, neck of good length fitting well into very good shoulder placement. Firm level topline held on the move, tremendous rear angulation giving super drive, straight front with good bone & tight feet, good forechest, deep in chest & well sprung ribs, short muscular loin. In gleaming pale coat very well presented, his muscular condition is to be commended. Whenever I looked over at him he never looked wrong, such a happy dog who just loves his mum. Delighted that the Group Judge agreed with my opinion of him. Aidine Howes ( Meadowgold ) ( Gundog Group Judge )... G3... his overall balance was complimented by further balance in the head which had lovely chiselling and kindly expression, moderate reach to neck & spring of rib. In full coat, he powered across the ring with flowing movement. Lynn Kipps ( Wheatcroft ).... My quality star of the day. Proportion & balance, correct angulation without exaggeration. Fluid lines, short coupled, lengthy muscular clean neck, lovely head & expression, attitude, allure and enthusiasm. Moved with, drive, level head, topline and tail carriage. Stood naturally absolutely correct. CC BOB Jim Richardson ( Darrachona ).... Quality from nose to tail. Beautiful head with kind, soft expression. Well shaped dark eye. Good forehand with well made short coupled well ribbed body. Tight feet and well up on pasterns with tight fitting elbows. Well muscled hindquarters. Enthusiastic, true mover with bags of style. Presented in tip top condition. Sheila Watkins ( Tamarley ).... have judged this dog as a junior & he has fulfilled my expectations, lovely head & expression, excellent reach of neck & shoulders, elegant outline, good bend of stifle, presented a lovely picture now he is maturing, very well presented & handled. Sue Russell ( Rosinante/Rosselle ).... Another quality dog who I liked very much, just loved his head and expression, in lovely coat and condition, well balanced, with super front construction, with good reach of neck into level topline and excellent bend of stifle, moved with drive, very well presented. Mervyn Philpott ( Westley ).... heading a lovely class of quality dogs, correct outline, excellent neck & shoulders, straight front, good bone and feet, correct spring of rib and level topline, correct bend of stifle, strong hindquarters, and moved well. Paula Edwards ( Lovehayne )..... top quality, well balanced in profile, straight front with good bone, neat feet, good reach of neck, level topline, in excellent coat and condition.. Viv Jones ( Ninell )..... soft well shaped head, straight forelegs, excellent length & angulation of upper arm, good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, level topline & strong quarters, good width of second thigh & well turned stifles, altogether giving a stunning outline, as well as his outstanding construction, beautifully presented without a hair out of place, handled with great competence. Bernard Catterall ( Golmas )....striking looking pale quality dog whose balance & presence catches one`s eye, masculine balanced head with dark eye & pigment, neck & shoulders were excellent, front was straight with good bone & well padded catlike feet, mature well ribbed body, short coupled & level topline, excellent rear angulation, moved with drive & super front extension. Lynne Hennessy ( Ritzilyn ) ..... my dog of the day, judged him as a minor puppy and thought that when he gets his act together he will be hard to beat, well he certainly did that. Creates a stunning picture when standing, gorgeous head, long clean neck with tremendous reach into best laid shoulders. Correct length of upper arm, perfect topline & tailset, strong broad quarters, presented in full coat & handled to advantage moved with power & style. His cheeky sideways glance told me he knew it was his day. CC and Best of Breed. George Hennessy ( Ritzilyn) .....very eyecatching male with superb outline & so full of quality, presented & handled to perfection, most appealing head & expression, strong neck into well placed shoulder, well developed forechest, ribs well sprung, strong level back, superbly balanced all through, moved with style covering the ground well with that wonderful carriage. CC & with my co-judge`s agreement Best In Show.. Frank Knippenborg ( Holland ).....very appealing eyecatching dog, love his well made head with the expression I am looking for. Excellent reach of neck and well laid back shoulder, good spring of rib and tailset, super angulation, moved like the ring is his home, happy and excellent movement in any direction. Loved to watch him and almost forced me to put him 1st. Gordon Talbot ( Dellersbeck )... Stood out in this class. Well presented, pleasing head and eye, good reach of neck going onto well placed shoulders. Deep chest with well sprung rib, good topline and movement. Tony Walker ( Falkeshall ).... one I have admired from the sidelines and was not disappointed going over him. Lovely boy in super condition, beautiful head and melting expression...He looked good on the move, holding his level topline with free flowing stride. Liked him very much. Rosemary Wilcock ( Camrose )...lovely type & quality, balanced, well chiselled head with lovely eye and expression, well made forehand & tight feet, full, beautifully presented coat of correct depth & texture, with good feathering. Sound, happy & free striding movement, handled to advantage. Liz Pope ( Chilzers )....Appeals straight away for his balanced clean outline, balanced head, good stop & width of skull, kind gentle expression, good forehand angulation, level topline, well muscled hindquarters, stylish mover if a little enthusiastic. Janet Barrow ( Halebourne ).... Super youngster with great balance. Lovely head with dark eye, good bone & feet, clean in shoulder, well bodied with short firm loin, level topline leading to wide, muscled quarters. Moved with drive & style. I considered him for top honours. Mal Watkins (Tamarley) .... eye catching youngster I have admired from the ringside, pleasing outline, nice head and expression, excellent reach of neck & shoulders, level topline & tailset, well sprung ribcage with well angulated hind quarters, moved very well .... Sandra Paterson (Buffalo) Aus .... my notes say ' what a lovely dog' has room to mature without ever being overdone, lovely head with dark eye and kindly expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders & level topline, good upper arm giving a good fill in forechest, lovely spring of rib & excellent hind quarter angulation to balance, moved well in all directions, coat of good texture, considered him for the higher awards .... Sue Pounds Longhurst (Mossburn) .... ticked most boxes, stunning outline and that wow factor with oodles of ring presence, beautifully presented & handled, one destined for the top drawer .... Sheila Watkins (Tamarley) ... this young dog took my eye for his elegant outline, pleasing head with nice expression & dark points, excellent reach of neck , level topline, carried tail correctly, deep through heart, with well angulated quarters, good bone, moved with stride in lovely coat and condition, one I will watch with interest ... Dave Mannings (Gatchells) ... impressive standing just needs time to strengthen into his lovely frame, pleasing head and eye with good balance and dark pigment, flowing neck and shoulder assembly, straight well boned forelegs with tight feet and level topline with good tailset, in very good coat and condition, one to remember .... Gordon Kipps ( Wheatcroft ).... Headed a fantastic class of good dogs, quality specimen in super coat and condition, lovely head and dark eye, very well balanced construction with all the attributes. In good muscular & coat condition, moved with style & drive, Reserve C.C. .... Gillian Hill ( Bramhills ) .... Super dog, most beautiful head & expression, good length of neck, superb forehand & rear quarters, strong level topline held on the move, feet and pasterns nice and tight, excellent movement, perfectly handled and presented... Beryl Stokes ( Jobeka ).... Lovely pale dog in super coat & condition, beautiful head & dark eye, well angulated, balanced body with level topline, moved well.... Audrey Richardson ( Darrachona ) .... Quality dog in lovely coat & condition, beautifully balanced head with well shaped dark eye, lengthy neck, well angulated, level topline, deep body with good length of rib, moved out with style covering ground with ease. One I shall watch with interest.... Fiona Thurm ( Beldonburn ) .... Presents a powerful masculine appearance, such a happy and soft expression with dark eye, cannot be overlooked with his lovely temperament and wagging tail, well angulated with super bone and feet, presented and shown to advantage.... Lynne Hennessey ( Ritzilyn ).... Lovely head, simply stunning in outline, in glorious coat, presentation and handling were perfection, just oozes quality .... Lindsey Maynard ( Chinnordale ) .... Glamorous puppy, very well made, balanced construction, excellent shoulders, level topline, good bend & width of stifle, beautiful head with melting expression, moved out well.... Judith Dawe ( Kensalroag )....Looked outstanding in profile and unlike others in later classes, I was not disappointed when I studied his head. Well shaped head with lovely eye shape giving a typical soft expression. Good depth to muzzle. Correct length to neck. Straight forelegs with good bone. Shoulders well laid back. Firm topline and well bent stifle. Hocks well let down and straight when viewed from the rear.........Moved well with good head carriage. Surely a star for the future! Jane Scuffle ( Jamoon ).... Lovely pale dog of 7 months, of top quality, gorgeous head, soft expression, well made, in excellent coat condition, moved well, will watch his career with interest ...
